Each 5th Grade student must pay $150 for mandatory dues.  The cost will allow your child to experience all the fun things that we have planned for 5th grade this year! 5th grade dues must be paid all at once or split into two payments: $75 due by November 1, 2024 and $75 by January 17, 2025.

Indicated below are what the dues will cover and the costs associated:

    Yearbook                          $40

    5th Grade T-shirt               $15

    Yearbook Signing/Celebration  $15

    Gift to 5th Grade Students $15

    5th Grade Trip                    $55
    Graduation Venue Contribution $10  

Please submit payment to your child's teacher by cash, check made out to "P.S. 54 PTA" or money order in an envelope labeled with your child's name, class and marked "5th grade dues".  You may also submit payment ONLINE.

Unfortunately the dues amount will not cover all expenses, so look out for fundraisers benefiting the Class of 2025 soon! 

Every 5th grade student will take a photo on picture day on OCTOBER 7th regardless if ordering a package. This picture will be used in the yearbook. Picture retakes will be in December. 

Each 5th grader will also have a baby picture in the yearbook this year. Please upload a baby photo HERE by OCTOBER 11th.  The best photos are close up ones from around 1 year old or younger. 

Please also submit candid photos to upload to the yearbook HERE as well.  Candid photos may only be from SCHOOL ONLY events, such as class trips, book fairs, in class events, etc.  We love to see photos with 2+ friends in them and want all students to be included in candid photos! Photos cannot have any adults in them other than P.S. 54 staff and no siblings can be included

Please adhere to deadlines so that we can complete this year's yearbook and meet all publisher deadlines. 

We are preparing to order the 5th grade t-shirts, which will be worn on Group Picture Day, 5th Grade trip and Yearbook Celebration Day. The cost of this t-shirt is incorporated in your child's dues.

Tshirt order forms have gone home.  Please return the completed form with your child's name clearly printed to verify how your child's name will appear on the back of the t-shirt AND circle your child's size by DECEMBER 18th
*Adult medium will be ordered for any student who does not return the form

Parents/guardians/teachers/staff may also order a t-shirt for $15 each. Payment may be made by cash or check made out to "P.S. 54 PTA".  Please use the same order form as your child and circle the size wanted.

All 5th grade students must apply for middle school next year.  Applications may be submitted online using your My Schools account.
